The Marina neighborhood is a 28 ½ block area with medium level foot traffic. Marina is considered Downtown's bedroom community with a mixture of high-rise residential towers and mid-rise buildings.
Close to the San Diego Bay Marina is comprised predominantly of residential units with some retail and office space. It is home to several beautiful community spaces such as Pantoja Park and Children's Pond, the Martin Luther King Promenade, the New Children’s Museum and street level restaurants and cafés. Several of the sidewalks are composed of enhanced tiles and pavers. The blocks in this neighborhood measure 200 feet by 300 feet in length.
