8th Annual National Night Out

A community walk/march and block party sponsored by SDPD.  The event is designed to heighten crime prevention, neighborhood spirit and police and community relations.  Starting at 1400 Broadway to 25th St. to Imperial Ave. to the block party location on 25th St. between Commercial & Imperial.  Public contact is Officer Gary Gonzales at (619) 818-9116.

29th Annual America's Finest City Half Marathon & 5K

29th Annual America's Finest City Half Marathon & 5K.  The largest half marathon west of the Mississippi.  Starts at Cabrillo National Monument and ends in Balboa Park.  Host organization is Cabrillo National Monument Foundation, race management is In Motion, Inc. and public contact is Neil Finn at (760) 692-2900.

32nd Midnight Madness Fun Bicycle Ride.  A fun bicycle ride around San Diego, including Downtown starting and finishing at the San Diego Administration Building.  Sponsored by the Optimist Club of Uptown San Diego. Public contract is Bruce Pain at (858) 573-6992.
