Downtown San Diego is home to many annual special events, both large and small. Events such as Mardi Gras in the Gaslamp, the Rock N Roll Marathon and San Diego Padres games at Petco Park bring people together for a fun Downtown experience.
The Clean & Safe program works closely with event promoters to ensure their maintenance contractors clean up and restore the public right of way within the event venue and surrounding area (200 feet around event perimeter) is competed within a specified timeline.
