One of our primary goals is to have open communication with our Downtown constituents. Clean & Safe wants to be responsive to your inquiries and complete requests for service in the Downtown public right of way in a timely manner, or assist with information about which city, county or private agency is responsible.

Downtown Assessment Refund Process

The City of San Diego Economic Development Division has begun processing Special Assessment Refund Claim Forms for the Downtown Property Based Improvement District (PBID) who were misassessed by the City.. Residents who live within the PBID and believe they may have been incorrectly assessed in previous years may submit a form to Economic Development. The claim form and more information can be found on the Economic development website at http://www.sandiego.gov/economic-development/.

It is anticipated that claims will be processed within 30-60 days of receipt, and residents are encouraged to submit claim forms before the end of March.
