During fiscal year 2007 the Clean and Safe Program
remained busy as downtown continued to host conventions,
special events, and numerous construction projects. This
year downtown hosted 20,000 runners for the Rock & Roll
Marathon, approximately 25,000 revelers for the
Mardi Gras Festival, and countless conventioneers attending
events such as the Action Sports Retailers Convention and
Comic-Con. As in previous years, we have continued to
coordinate with the planners of these and other events to
minimize their effects on downtown property owners,
residents and businesses...

Monthly Compilation of Statistics
With the goal of communicating more information about Clean & Safe's services in Downtown San Diego, we've created the Monthly Compilation of Statistics. This report provides the raw data pertaining to the amount of maintenance, safety, personnel and equipment that Clean & Safe uses or collects every month, with a brief comment section highlighting any significant variances from one month the next.
